What this site is — and how it’s built.

An editorial database of every AI-related lawsuit in the United States, with curated international coverage. Built on primary court documents, updated daily.

What we are

AI Lawsuit Tracker is an editorial database of every active and resolved AI-related lawsuit in the United States, plus curated international filings. We track copyright, privacy, defamation, employment, product-liability, and consumer-protection actions against AI companies and AI-driven products.

The site is built for lawyers, journalists, policy researchers, compliance teams, and the affected public. Everything we publish is grounded in primary court documents — dockets, complaints, opinions, and orders — and every material claim links to its source.

Editorial team

AI Lawsuit Tracker is produced by an editorial team focused exclusively on AI litigation. Our standards are documented in detail on the Methodology page: primary sources only, rulings quoted verbatim with page citations, no editorializing on active cases, and a multi-stage human review before any case is published.

We do not accept payment from parties or law firms to influence how a case is covered. Newsletter sponsorships are clearly labeled and never determine editorial decisions.

How we’re funded

Three sources, in order of size:

  1. Pro subscriptions. Lawyers, in-house counsel, and analysts who need alerts, settlement data, and the full case database pay a monthly fee. See pricing.
  2. Sponsored newsletter slots. Clearly labeled, capped per issue, and never embedded in case coverage.
  3. Data licensing. Selective access for academic researchers and accredited media organizations.

What we don’t do

  • We do not give legal advice. Anything on this site is informational only.
  • We do not source from press releases, blog posts, or unverified summaries.
  • We do not run paid placement on rankings, case prominence, or company profiles.
  • We do not editorialize on active cases. We state facts, link to sources, and let readers draw conclusions.
